Established in 2008 by founder & president Howard Rees, the We Are One Jazz Project is a Canadian Charitable Organization. Our community building mandate is to bring together 'at risk' children and Master Jazz Musicians in an enriched learning and performance oriented environment.
 
Research and our own experiences show that children introduced to music can derive such benefits as increased concentration, memory skills, personal enjoyment and a life-long appreciation for the arts. Through the guidance of master musicians, participating students in our program are encouraged to explore their own creativity through first hand exposure to the beauty and power of Jazz Music.
 
Our 5-year initiative, will deliver this innovative Jazz Music Program to a different ‘high priority’ area of the GTA in each of the next 5 years.
